There is Telephone facility through STD and ISD with Fax and Telex, Internet and Mobile facilities. There is Computerised Railway Booking and Air Ticketing at Daman, Silvassa and Vapi.
Labour & Housing:
These places enjoy peaceful and harmonious labour climate. Mostly they are not the residents of UT but the are given accommodation by the company or they come from the neighboring villages of Gujarat and Maharashtra by train to Vapi or by road transport The weather of Daman and Silvassa is fine with good hotels and resorts. There are about 82 Hotels in Daman, 37 in Silvassa and 31 Hotels in Vapi. There are good residential colonies and Apartments too and plots of land are also available at reasonable rates for construction of houses.
Transportation & Health
There are local Mini buses, S.T. Buses, Auto Rickshaws, Public taxies, & Travel agencies through out the area, at your doorstep of residence and works. The famous Truck operators and the courier services are also here.
All the villages have Primary Health centers. There are about 108 Hospitals and about 500 clinics. The main Hospitals are in Vapi.
Environment & Education
Silvassa & Daman areas have clean and fresh air, as there are no polluting Industries. The Western part of Vapi is also clean only some parts of eastern Vapi are full of polluted air. There are about 47 English medium Schools, 317 Gujarati Medium Schools, few Marathi, Hindi & Urdu Schools in Vapi, Daman & Silvassa. There are Colleges of Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, B.B.A., MBA, B. Pharm, B.C.A., and I. T. I. Courses. New college has been developed in Silvassa.
